As a Technical Recruiter, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling LILT’s engineering organization by attracting top-tier talent in a fast-paced, high-quality environment. This role blends autonomy, resourcefulness, and strong collaboration. You’ll report directly to our Chief People Officer and be based in San Francisco, with a hybrid schedule (Mon–Wed in-office).
Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles—including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership on hiring strategies, market insights, and organizational needs.
Drive proactive sourcing, building pipelines for roles in engineering, data science, and AI.
Maintain a strong sense of urgency, thoroughness, and efficiency, aligning with LILT’s “Quicker than they expect” and “Quality is Job 1” virtues.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers, People Ops, and the CPO to ensure seamless, high-quality candidate experiences.
Refine and optimize recruiting workflows, candidate feedback loops, and data tracking to improve performance and decision-making.
You are:
A talented, resourceful recruiter with experience hiring for technical roles in high-growth or AI-centric environments.

A natural collaborator, skilled in building trust with stakeholders and candidates alike.

Hands-on experience using Ashby ATS or a similar modern recruiting platform.
Prior experience recruiting in AI, machine learning, or localization/translation tech sectors.
Familiarity with human-in-the-loop AI workflows or global tech hiring nuances.
Our founders, Spence and John met at Google working on Google Translate. As researchers at Stanford and Berkeley, they both worked on language technology to make information accessible to everyone. While together at Google, they were amazed to learn that Google Translate wasn’t used for enterprise products and services inside the company.The quality just wasn’t there.
