Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 3–5 professionals handling benefit-billing inquiries, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Oversee daily billing operations and manage high-level financial issues with insurance partners
- Forecast volume and plan resource needs to support program growth
- Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual audits and ensure accurate reconciliations and reporting
- Establish and enforce SOPs and SLAs with insurance partners
- Audit reconciliations and reporting for accuracy and identify trends for improvement
- Design and implement new procedures and operational automations to increase efficiency
- Maintain internal billing resource materials for all insurance offerings
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and Engineering on projects and process changes
- Provide coaching, performance reviews, and development planning for team members
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, PMP) are a plus
