- Focused on quality control, safety, and documentation
Responsibilities
- Own and manage multiple CNC operator teams on first shift
- Lead and mentor the team of people leaders on the operations floor
- Assign and delegate daily work and production priorities
- Identify manufacturing process gaps and drive corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering and design to improve part manufacturability
- Support strategic shop-floor operations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure quality, safety, and compliance for machined flight hardware
- Develop training pathways and career growth for machinists and operators
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification, trade school, or associate degree in machining/manufacturing preferred
- Post-secondary degree in engineering or manufacturing-related field is a plus
