Director, International Benefits

Justworks is a growing HR platform and Employer of Record (EOR) business that helps companies manage payroll, compliance, and benefits. The Director, International Benefits will own strategy, design, and execution of multi-country benefits programs—building a distributed team, managing global vendor relationships, ensuring local compliance, and partnering cross-functionally to create competitive, scalable benefits offerings that drive customer retention and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-region benefits strategy aligned to international growth and compliance requirements
  • Build, lead and scale a distributed Global Benefits team, setting ownership, standards, and performance metrics
  • Negotiate and manage global brokers, carriers, and vendor relationships including RFPs and renewals
  • Identify, design, and launch benefit products and innovations (wellness, mental health, family support, etc.) tailored by region
  • Own global renewal calendar, processes, and data integrity across markets
  • Ensure statutory compliance, documentation, and governance in collaboration with Legal and Compliance
  • Create unified analytics and reporting on benefits cost, utilization and satisfaction; partner with Finance on budgeting and forecasting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Payroll, HRIS, Sales, and Customer Success to integrate benefits into the platform and customer experience
  • Lead communications and change management for benefits launches and updates to employees and customers

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH) a plus but not required
