Skills
- Minimum 5 years customer service experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or contact center
- Minimum 1 year experience with payroll, benefits, or HR administration
- Strong written and verbal communication across phone, chat, and email
- Ability to simplify complex topics and provide clear, actionable guidance
- Comfort handling challenging or sensitive customer conversations with empathy
- Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and drive issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat related to payroll, benefits, compliance, and the Justworks platform
- Troubleshoot platform issues, guide customers through processes (reporting, time off, integrations, bulk actions), and escalate when needed
- Maintain and manage a queue of open issues to provide timely resolutions
- Provide consultative support to customers at all levels, including senior executives and business owners
- Contribute feedback and recommendations to improve product and internal processes
- Attend mandatory paid virtual training and work scheduled EST shift (8am-7pm EST, Sun-Wed)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree (Associate/Bachelor's) in a related field preferred but not required
