Skills

Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for hospital providers and Steadfast inpatient consult team, delivering professional and empathetic communication.
- Complete patient intake, collect medical history, consent forms, and insurance information accurately and timely.
- Enter and maintain patient records, treatment plans, and test results in Athena (EHR) while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for inpatient consults and follow-up appointments with hospital staff and Steadfast clinicians.
- Collaborate remotely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely, coordinated patient care.
- Support daily huddles, care coordination activities, and escalate clinical or operational issues appropriately.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) training program preferred
