Senior Customer Success Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Customer Success Manager in the United States.

In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to customers, ensuring they achieve measurable business outcomes through effective use of company solutions. You will lead executive-level conversations, manage complex accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive adoption, retention, and expansion. Your work will involve proactively identifying opportunities and risks, translating insights into actionable plans, and delivering exceptional value through consultative guidance. This position combines relationship management, strategic planning, and operational execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to influence customer experience processes and contribute to the growth and success of both customers and the business.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead strategic conversations with executive-level stakeholders to understand business objectives, define success metrics, and position the company as a long-term partner.
  • Own and coordinate account teams, ensuring alignment, cross-functional collaboration, and prioritization of initiatives for optimal customer outcomes.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain robust, data-driven mutual success plans that drive adoption, value realization, and executive engagement across complex organizations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for growth and expansion, guiding customer behavior through consultative advice and best practice recommendations.
  • Monitor customer health and anticipate risks, using qualitative and quantitative insights to take timely action.
  • Champion customer needs internally, collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to influence roadmap decisions and ensure seamless experiences.
  • Provide thought leadership through workshops, trainings, and strategic guidance on industry trends, emerging use cases, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Sales Engineering, Consulting, or similar customer-facing roles, preferably in B2B SaaS with complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.
  • Proven track record in strategic customer management, enterprise adoption, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior-level and C-suite stakeholders with strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives, requests, and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining ownership and clear communication.
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues, uncover opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Expertise in building and managing mutual success plans, change management strategies, and long-term account roadmaps.
  • Proficiency in Gainsight and Salesforce (SFDC); Bachelor’s degree in technology, marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and value-based storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
