Regional VP of Sales

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional VP of Sales in United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead sales efforts across a defined territory, driving revenue growth and strategic client engagement. The Regional VP of Sales will focus on developing relationships with employer groups, third-party administrators, brokers, and consultants, presenting tailored solutions, and expanding market presence. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on sales leadership, including participation in RFP processes, contract negotiations, and go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on sales objectives, optimize resources, and ensure client success. The position is remote, offering the flexibility to work independently while maintaining a strong connection with the broader sales organization. Success in this role requires a balance of business acumen, industry knowledge, and relationship-building expertise.


Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned territory, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within employer groups, TPAs, brokers, consultants, and managed care organizations.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including discovery, solution development, pricing, proposals, presentations, and contract finalization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—marketing, legal, underwriting, product, implementation, and customer success—to optimize client onboarding and solution delivery.
  • Monitor regional market trends, legislative developments, and competitor activity to inform territory strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting and forecasting using Salesforce.com.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3–5 years of progressive sales experience in healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industries.
  • Proven track record of profitable growth and client retention in PBM or related sales.
  • Deep understanding of employer, TPA, broker, and consultant sales processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and industry-relevant tools.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Positive attitude, self-starter, innovative, and results-driven.
