This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of T-Mobile. We are currently looking for an Account Executive, Government in Oregon.

This role offers the opportunity to drive sales and account growth within government sectors, managing key relationships and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. You will combine strategic prospecting with hands-on account management to grow revenue, strengthen customer loyalty, and influence decision-making. This position requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge of wireless solutions, and the ability to navigate complex client environments. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and provide insights that support business objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and enjoys building long-term client relationships while exceeding sales targets.

Accountabilities

  • Drive new sales by proactively identifying opportunities within local government accounts and guiding them through the sales process to closure.
  • Manage existing accounts, fostering relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Partner with internal leadership to develop business plans and strategies to achieve regional and departmental goals.
  • Use CRM systems and sales tools to track customer interactions, manage pipelines, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Deliver consultative presentations and recommendations that meet client-specific needs.
  • Complete required training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain professionalism and ethical conduct, supporting a collaborative team culture and company values.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of sales experience in government or business markets.
  • 3+ years of experience in wireless or telecom industry sales preferred.
  • Proven track record in prospecting, account management, and closing complex deals.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and at least 21 years of age.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Competitive base salary and performance-based incentives, with total target cash pay up to $234,600.
