Strategic Account Executive - Washington, D.C.

Corelight is a network detection and response leader built on open-source projects like Zeek, Suricata and YARA, helping enterprises, government and research institutions detect and respond to cyber threats. We are seeking a Strategic Account Executive to manage the Washington, D.C. territory and drive enterprise SaaS sales by building executive relationships, closing complex deals, and aligning Corelight solutions to customer security objectives.

Skills

  • 3-5+ years selling enterprise SaaS in cloud or security to named accounts or geographic territories.
  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and selling into integrated security tool stacks.
  • Expertise in value-based and solution selling with measurable business outcomes.
  • Proficiency with formal sales processes and qualification frameworks.
  • Ability to explain technical products to technically astute buyers and security teams.
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and articulate Corelight solutions and business value to customers and executives.
  • Develop, grow and advise C‑suite relationships with an industry point-of-view.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas through new and expansion business.
  • Align with partners and channel ecosystem to optimize go-to-market opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and deliver expert-level sales forecasting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align strategy and achieve company objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, mapping Corelight solutions to client business and security goals.
  • Travel regionally as needed and participate in an in-person interview late in the process.

Education

  • BA or equivalent required; technical or business field preferred.
  • Alternatively, 4 additional years of relevant cybersecurity experience may substitute for degree.
