Payroll Manager – International & Domestic Operations

Corelight is a rapidly growing cybersecurity company built on open-source innovations that turn network telemetry into actionable threat insights. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Payroll Manager to lead global payroll operations across multiple countries, manage third-party payroll vendors and EOR partners, ensure compliance for equity taxation and payroll reporting, and partner closely with Finance and HR to maintain accurate payroll controls and integrations.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state payroll tax laws including equity taxation
  • Extensive experience with Paylocity and NetSuite integrations and reconciliations
  • Experience managing payroll through third-party providers and EOR arrangements
  • Strong audit experience for 401(k) and workers’ compensation
  • Ability to analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
  • Excellent stakeholder communication with HR, Finance, external vendors, and employees

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries using third-party vendors, EORs, and outsourced providers
  • Administer U.S. payroll via Paylocity and coordinate timely processing with global partners
  • Manage 401(k) and workers’ compensation audits and ensure federal, state, and local compliance
  • Ensure correct taxation and reporting of equity compensation (NSO, ISO, etc.)
  • Reconcile payroll-related GL accounts in NetSuite with Finance
  • Own and manage relationships with Paylocity, Fidelity (401k), and NetSuite and ensure effective system integrations
  • Serve as subject matter expert for payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Implement process improvements for payroll operations, data integrity, and employee experience
  • Support month-end close activities related to payroll and maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
  • Process year-end reports (W-2s, 1099s) and other required tax filings

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
  • CPP certification is a plus
