Account Executive - SLED Central

Corelight builds network detection and response solutions based on open-source innovations to help organizations detect and investigate cyber threats. We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive sales across the SLED (State, Local, Education) Central territory, develop C-suite relationships, and consistently close deals that align customer outcomes with Corelight’s product value.

Skills

  • Enterprise SaaS sales experience in cloud/security
  • Value-based and consultative selling
  • Territory and pipeline management with strong forecasting
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder public-sector sales cycles
  • Strong presentation and executive engagement skills

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow revenue in the SLED Central territory, meeting or exceeding quarterly quotas.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships, advising C-suite stakeholders with strategic, business-oriented insights.
  • Position Corelight solutions to demonstrate measurable business outcomes and value.
  • Manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with partners and cross-functional teams to maximize market opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer missions and aligning Corelight solutions to their goals.
  • Travel regionally to meet customers and participate in in-person interviews/demos as required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant industry certifications or continued training preferred
