Sales Operations Specialist (Northeast)

GuidePoint Security is a rapidly growing, privately-held information security reseller serving Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. The Sales Operations Specialist (Northeast) will support regional partners and account executives by managing Salesforce opportunities, generating quotes, coordinating with vendors and customers, and assisting marketing and forecasting activities to drive new and renewal business.

Skills

  • Proven experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication for email and phone correspondence
  • Solid math skills to calculate margins, discounts, and percentages
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Vendor and customer relationship management
  • Basic familiarity with event coordination and marketing support
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

  • Use Salesforce to generate quotes, track opportunities, and process orders
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries from account teams, vendors, and customers
  • Serve as liaison between customers, vendors, outside account executives, accounting, and contracts
  • Perform pipeline analysis and attend regional forecast calls to ensure forecast accuracy
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and regional customers
  • Assist marketing with planning and coordinating regional events, sponsorships, invites, and venues
  • Suggest creative pricing and payment solutions consistent with policies
  • Maintain product, vendor, and service offering knowledge to support sales activities
  • Manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities to meet tight deadlines

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree or technical college preferred
