Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an HR Specialist located in Fontana, CA.

Reporting to the Senior HR Generalist, the HR Specialist’s role involves supporting HR programs and the business with HR related activities for the site.  

What a typical day looks like:

  • Collaborate with managers on talent needs, recruiting, and development.
  • Advise site management on employee engagement, workforce planning, and HR policies.
  • Participate in site and corporate projects and process improvements.
  • Promote company culture and support managers on change management.
  • Consult on HR trends, labor laws, and policy interpretation.
  • Assist employee life cycle activities (onboarding, orientation, merit, separation).
  • Support recruitment programs and maintain external partnerships.
  • Assist with employee investigations and review policy and labor law violations; resolve employee relations issues.
  • Design programs to improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain required records and ensure legal compliance.
  • Partner on compensation and benefit programs; administer local benefits.
  • Support global HR initiatives locally and communicate programs to employees.
  • Lead or support sustainability initiatives and events.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resource related function.
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources or related experience.
  • Demonstrates operations and technical skills and comprehension of Flex’ functional standards.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of functional concepts and a solid comprehension of Flex policies and procedures.
  • Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization from production associates through executives.
  • Responds to customer complaints, employee issues and regulatory agency inquiries.

Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$63,100.00 USD - $86,700.00 USD Annual
