About the role
We’re hiring a Sales Development Manager to build and own Dune’s outbound motion and pipeline creation engine.
This is a hands-on, execution-first role for someone who can do the heavy lifting themselves while laying the foundations for a highly effective SDR function. You’ll start as a player-coach, personally driving outbound, market mapping, and experimentation, before growing and leading a small team of SDRs as we scale.
Your primary mandate is pipeline creation through outbound strategy and execution. This is not an ecosystem partnership role. You’ll work closely with Sales, RevOps, and Product to define how we go to market, who we target, and how we consistently get into the right accounts.
While crypto experience is a plus, we’re open to exceptional candidates from web2 SaaS who can learn fast, adapt quickly, and bring world-class outbound discipline into a crypto-native environment.
This role is based in US Eastern Time or Europe (CET).
In this role, you will:
Own and execute Dune’s outbound and pipeline generation strategy across multiple channels.
Act as an individual contributor initially—prospecting, researching, messaging, and booking meetings yourself.
Build and evolve a repeatable SDR playbook: account mapping, ICP segmentation, outreach sequencing, and qualification.
Lead market and account mapping across enterprise and mid-market segments, identifying priority industries, personas, and use cases.
Design and run outbound campaigns across a diverse set of channels (e.g. email, LinkedIn, events, communities, telegram, twitter).
Partner closely with RevOps to ensure CRM excellence, clean data, accurate attribution, and scalable GTM processes.
Hire, onboard, and manage SDRs as the team grows, transitioning into a formal lead role over time.
Work closely with Account Executives to ensure high-quality handoffs and feedback loops.
Leverage AI and data driven sales tools extensively to continuously test, measure, and optimize outreach effectiveness.
Key success metrics in the first 6 months:
Consistent creation of high-quality, outbound-sourced pipeline.
Clear ICP definition and account segmentation.
A repeatable outbound motion that can be scaled with SDR hires
Strong CRM hygiene and reporting around outbound activity and conversion
Evidence of learning velocity and adaptation within the crypto/data space.
You might be a great fit for this role if you:
Have 4–7+ years of B2B SaaS experience in sales development, outbound sales, or pipeline generation.
Have ideally sold technical products to technical or data-driven buyers.
Have targeted roles such as data leaders, engineering leaders, analytics teams, or technical decision-makers.
Are comfortable building pipeline from scratch in outbound-heavy environments
Understand RevOps fundamentals: CRM structure, lead routing, attribution, sequencing, and reporting
Can quickly learn new markets and re-map industries that are unfamiliar or evolving.
Have a strong startup mindset, resourceful, biased toward action, and comfortable with ambiguity
Can deliver a concise, compelling pitch for a complex product.
Are excited about crypto, data, and building something new, even if you’re coming from Web2.

We are looking for builders and executionists, not pure managers.
Experience in crypto is a plus, but not a requirement, learning speed matters more.
