This hybrid role will be based in the Plano, TX area and will be responsible for managing an assigned set of clients and prospects within a defined territory. The TAM will act as a trusted advisor, providing cybersecurity technology consultation, contract pricing and renewals, managed detection and response services, professional services, and risk & compliance consultation.


The ideal candidate is driven, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment—capable of blending consultative selling with excellent customer service while building strong, long-term relationships.


Essential Functions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and prospects, acting as a cybersecurity sales advocate across solutions including endpoint, network, security operations, vulnerability management, SIEM, incident response, security assessments, threat intelligence, and more.
  • Drive new business sales while managing the sales process from prospecting through close.
  • Leverage Salesforce to manage opportunities, accounts, and all territory-related activity.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quota while maintaining accurate pipeline, forecast, and account data.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations via MS Teams, web meetings, and in person.
  • Execute the full sales cycle: identify and qualify opportunities, build pipeline, negotiate pricing and contractual terms, and close business.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and support.
  • Develop expertise in CyberOne’s portfolio of solutions and vendor offerings.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Required Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years of related sales experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with a technology value-added reseller, partner company, or manufacturer.
  • Preferred Education / Experience
  • Existing client and vendor network within Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Louisiana, and surrounding areas strongly preferred.
  • Sales experience in State, Local, K-12/ISD, and Higher Education markets is a plus.
  • Core Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other CRM/marketing platforms, plus Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive).
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage time, multitask, and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales quotas in a remote or hybrid role.
  • Experience selling IT security solutions, closing deals, and managing sales processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Track record of prospecting, engaging, and acquiring new customers.


Certifications & Licenses
  • Vendor sales certifications are a plus but not required.


Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • This hybrid role is based in Plano, TX.
  • Potential travel (10%) to customer sites within the territory.
  • Ability to navigate client environments, which may include walking, stairs, or carrying light materials (up to 25 lbs).
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while working.
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery throughout the workday.
  • Work in an extremely fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment.
