ClinChoice is a global full-service CRO focused on high-quality clinical development and strong employee development, offering a collaborative, one-team culture and excellent work-life balance. The Business Development Director will own new business generation and account growth on the East Coast/New England, selling full-service global CRO offerings to life-sciences clients and building relationships with senior and C-level stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proven track record selling full-service CRO services
  • Strong consultative selling and enterprise sales experience
  • Ability to engage and present to senior and C-level stakeholders
  • Negotiation and complex deal-closing skills
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and pipeline management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities across varying sales cycle stages

Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess and pursue new business opportunities across pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices and consumer health.
  • Sell full-service global CRO solutions and drive end-to-end deal cycles.
  • Generate leads, qualify opportunities and create new accounts while expanding existing client relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers, including senior management and C-level stakeholders.
  • Develop account plans informed by client organizational structure and business challenges.
  • Contribute to refinement of business development strategy, target definition, and sales process improvements.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets aligned with company growth objectives.

Education

  • BA or BS required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
  • Relevant industry certifications or professional training considered a plus
