Business Development Representative - job 1 of 6

Braze is a global customer engagement platform seeking energetic, curious, and action-oriented Business Development Representatives to generate pipeline and open conversations with C-suite and senior prospects. The role focuses on account research, multi-channel outreach, qualifying early-stage opportunities, and partnering with Account Executives to drive new business for the Chicago hybrid team.

Skills

  • Comfortable with cold outreach and objection handling
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and tracking outreach metrics
  • Ability to structure discovery conversations and qualify opportunities
  • High organization, time management, and quota discipline

Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts and relevant stakeholders to build account strategies
  • Execute multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, video) to generate meetings
  • Qualify early-stage opportunities through discovery conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop account plans and hand off qualified leads
  • Manage personal pipeline and KPIs to meet individual quota and team goals
  • Deliver concise value-oriented pitches and solution demonstrations
  • Attend events and networking opportunities to generate new leads
  • Track activity and results in CRM; iterate on outreach based on performance

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Open to recent graduates with relevant internship or sales experience
