Lead Solutions Consultant, GSA

Braze is a leading customer engagement platform seeking a Lead Solutions Consultant for the Americas who will act as a technical storyteller and pre-sales thought leader. This role partners closely with sales, product, security, and marketing teams to design and present technical solutions, mentor Solutions Consultants, and help build customer confidence during the sales process while supporting long-term partnerships.

Skills

  • Proven pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical account management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication and storytelling skills
  • Experience selling into accounts with sophisticated pre-sales consulting or sales engineering teams
  • Domain knowledge in two or more areas: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics, or basic programming/HTML
  • Ability to build technical demos, solution architectures, and POCs that map to business outcomes
  • Mentoring and team leadership experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% when needed

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical thought leader and trusted advisor during the sales cycle, articulating Braze value and technical capabilities
  • Create and deliver technical product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution designs tailored to prospect needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Security to align on customer requirements and go-to-market messaging
  • Mentor and coach Solutions Consultants, fostering best practices and consistency across pre-sales engagements
  • Develop strategic playbooks, technical enablement materials, and customer-facing artifacts
  • Support complex sales pursuits and RFP/RFI responses, building customer confidence in Braze’s platform
  • Travel with the team and customers as required (up to 50% at peak times)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant technical or marketing certifications are a plus
