Customer Success Manager (Midwest)

BrainPOP, a long-established provider of engaging K‑12 digital learning resources and a KIRKBI-owned company, is hiring a District Customer Success Manager to manage a portfolio of strategic Midwest school districts. The role focuses on driving adoption, retention, and revenue expansion through consultative engagement with district leaders, accurate forecasting, and territory-based account growth.

Skills

  • Proven revenue generation and quota attainment in enterprise K-12 software or account management
  • Strong consultative selling and executive engagement skills with district leaders
  • Experience with K-12 curriculum, standards, and education trends
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) including pipeline management and forecasting
  • Project management and implementation experience in K-12 software deployments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical problem-solving and strategic account planning

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end success for strategic district partners from onboarding to renewal
  • Proactively identify and pursue upsell and expansion opportunities within assigned districts
  • Create accurate pricing proposals informed by historical customer data
  • Develop deep product expertise to support and advise educators
  • Manage onboarding and implementation as primary relationship manager
  • Maintain consistent communication with district and school leaders to drive utilization and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support renewals, inform product development, and share partner feedback
  • Prepare accurate weekly forecasts, conduct deal reviews, and manage CRM pipeline
  • Develop and execute account-based growth plans that account for territory complexities
  • Travel periodically (approximately monthly) for on-site meetings and company events

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Familiarity with K-12 education policies, curriculum, and standards
