Talent Management Director

IEM is a long-standing, high-growth manufacturer of custom power distribution systems serving global technology, data center, and industrial markets. The Director, Talent Management will design and execute an enterprise talent strategy—leading succession planning, leadership and career development, talent assessment, and change initiatives to build capability across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an enterprise talent management framework aligned to business strategy.
  • Lead the annual talent review and succession planning process, including assessment, calibration, and successor identification for critical roles.
  • Develop and maintain talent analytics, dashboards, and reporting to track readiness, potential, and movement.
  • Partner with Talent Development to create leadership development programs for frontline, mid-level, and senior leaders.
  • Coach and advise business leaders on talent conversations, succession decisions, and development plans.
  • Drive organizational development, change management, workforce planning, and onboarding improvements.
  • Build targeted development experiences for high-potential employees and emerging leaders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of talent professionals and foster a collaborative culture.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field required
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred
