Learning Program Manager   

IEM is a longstanding, high-volume manufacturer of custom power distribution systems seeking a strategic Learning Program Manager for Sales & Field Services. The role will design, implement, and measure blended learning programs to build technical, behavioral, and safety competencies across field and sales teams, partnering with SMEs and leaders to drive performance and compliance.

Skills

  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360 preferred)
  • Proficiency with LMS administration and eLearning deployment
  • Strong facilitation and train-the-trainer capability
  • Project and program management skills
  • Stakeholder management and consultative partnership
  • Experience measuring learning impact and using data to refine programs
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance training in operational environments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and multimedia tools

Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs analyses with SMEs and leaders to identify critical skill gaps for sales and field services.
  • Design engaging, blended learning programs using adult learning principles (instructor-led, virtual, microlearning, on-the-job).
  • Manage end-to-end learning initiatives: design, pilot, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with internal SMEs and external vendors to develop and deliver high-quality content and materials.
  • Build tools and resources to support self-directed learning and on-the-job performance.
  • Track and report learning outcomes, adoption metrics, and business impact.
  • Ensure training meets regulatory, compliance, and safety requirements.
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions for employees, supervisors, and leaders.
  • Coach front-line supervisors on safety culture, accountability, and customer-focused behaviors.
  • Travel as required (up to 50%) to support program delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business, or related field (required)
  • Certifications in L&D (e.g., CPLP) or advanced degrees (preferred)
