VP, Federal Sales

BeyondTrust is a global identity security leader focused on protecting privileged access across organizations. We are seeking a hands-on VP, Federal Sales to build and lead a high-performing federal sales organization, drive strategic growth across Federal accounts, own P&L responsibilities, and partner cross-functionally to deliver enterprise solutions to government customers.

Skills

  • Proven federal sales leadership and business development experience
  • Strong P&L and operational management capabilities
  • Established relationships and network within the Federal identity/security space
  • Capture management and competitive win experience
  • Forecasting, pipeline management and quota-setting experience
  • Cross-functional collaboration with pre/post-sales, contracts, marketing and partners
  • Excellent negotiation and executive-level influencing skills
  • Ability to hire, mentor and scale remote teams

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead and scale a federal sales team focused on identity/security SaaS solutions across Federal customers
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, territory assignments, quotas and go-to-market processes
  • Drive full lifecycle business development and pipeline generation for organic growth
  • Provide accurate quarterly forecasting and maintain visibility into pipeline and revenue
  • Partner with sales enablement, marketing, pre/post-sales, contracts and engineering to position solutions and execute enterprise campaigns
  • Hire, train, coach and develop account managers and sales leaders to meet revenue and profitability targets
  • Lead capture efforts and competitive pursuits; provide negotiation support and deal strategy
  • Own P&L accountability and recommend business process adjustments to meet corporate objectives
  • Represent the organization with senior customer and partner stakeholders to build strategic relationships

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant certifications or training in security, sales leadership, or federal contracting are a plus
