Account Manager, Mid-Market

Apollo.io is a fast-growing, AI-native go-to-market SaaS platform that provides verified contact data and engagement tools to revenue teams worldwide. The company is hiring an Account Manager, Mid-Market to own a portfolio of Tier 1/2 mid-market accounts, drive product activation and adoption, and identify and close expansion opportunities to achieve revenue targets.

Skills

  • Proven B2B SaaS sales experience with quota attainment
  • Experience in product-led growth or PLG-influenced environments
  • Pipeline development and account planning skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and activity-driven selling
  • Analytical mindset to assess usage data and recommend actions
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • High organization and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close expansion and upsell opportunities across Tier 1/Tier 2 mid-market accounts
  • Conduct virtual enablement, activation sessions, business reviews, and regular customer meetings to drive adoption
  • Own and manage a portfolio of accounts, resolving customer situations end-to-end
  • Develop and maintain 3x pipeline coverage and detailed account plans for top-tier accounts
  • Collaborate closely with success, support, marketing, legal, and product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Analyze account usage to surface activation opportunities and recommend product-led solutions
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets and activity expectations (customer touches, meetings)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant coursework or certificates in sales, business, or related fields helpful
