Senior Director, Sales

Zscaler is a public, enterprise-grade cloud security company operating the world’s largest security cloud and delivering Zero Trust security via its SASE and SSE platforms. We are seeking a Senior Director, Sales to lead and scale a field sales organization, drive new customer acquisition, deliver accurate forecasting, and mentor Account Executives to exceed revenue targets in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Skills

  • Proven B2B enterprise sales success, closing new customers in technical/security markets
  • Demonstrated experience hiring, managing, and coaching field sales teams
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM (Salesforce preferred) proficiency
  • Ability to build sales strategies, messaging, and collateral to drive pipeline
  • Cross-functional collaboration with RevOps, CS, Channel, and Marketing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Define territory sales goals and implement processes, infrastructure, and hiring plans to meet quotas
  • Hire, lead, mentor, and coach Account Executives through regular 1:1s and team coaching
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Customer Success, ADR, Channel, and Marketing to optimize sales and customer outcomes
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and sales materials to accelerate customer acquisition
  • Build and maintain lasting customer relationships using consultative sales and account management practices
  • Use CRM to maintain accurate records, report activity, and provide reliable forecasts and sales metrics
  • Participate in leadership meetings to report progress, surface blockers, and drive resolution
  • Support frontline sales activities including customer calls, onsite meetings, and deal close assistance

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Relevant business, technical, or cybersecurity education is a plus
  • Ongoing professional development or sales certifications beneficial
