WireScreen is a fast-growing Series A startup building the go-to open source intelligence platform for navigating global supply chains and China-related risk. While China maintains some of the world’s most detailed corporate ownership records, the real challenge is connecting the dots. That’s where we come in—surfacing the networks, relationships, and financial ties behind companies to support national security, compliance, and regulatory oversight.
Backed by Sequoia Capital and Harpoon Ventures, our team includes a two time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and senior engineers from Google, Twitter, and Oracle. We launched our product just three years ago and already have strong traction with top-tier government customers—and we’re just getting started. If you're excited to bring transparency to complex global systems, now’s the perfect time to join us.
Check out this blog from our CEO on how WireScreen traced DeepSeek’s origins back to 2023—well before it went mainstream in 2025.
We are seeking a savvy, execution-oriented Technical Recruiter to help scale our world-class engineering and product teams. You’ll play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and closing exceptional technical talent—people who thrive at the intersection of data, infrastructure, and security—while helping define what a high-performing team looks like at WireScreen.
This is a full-cycle role, ideal for someone who’s not only a great recruiter, but also a strong storyteller and creative sourcer—someone who can confidently explain our technical mission to candidates who’ve never heard of us, and knows where to find talent beyond LinkedIn.
Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and product roles, from first outreach to close, with a focus on mission-critical hires across backend, infrastructure, data, and product
Partner with hiring managers to define role scopes, align on technical needs, build scorecards, and calibrate expectations based on market realities
Source proactively and creatively—you know how to tap into non-traditional networks, communities, and channels to find exceptional talent, not just profiles with polished resumes
Pitch with technical fluency—you can explain WireScreen’s tech stack, data challenges, and product direction with credibility and clarity to engineering candidates at any level
Design and run tight hiring processes, ensuring consistency, speed, and great candidate experience throughout
Use data to drive decisions, track performance metrics, and continuously improve how we attract, assess, and close top talent
Contribute to employer branding, content, and technical outreach campaigns to increase visibility among high-caliber technical audiences
Help build and refine our recruiting infrastructure, including tools, workflows, and best practices for long-term scaling
Have 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in-house at high-growth startups or early-stage companies
Have hired for roles like backend engineers, infrastructure/SREs, staff engineers, and product managers—and understand the nuances that separate good from great
Are comfortable discussing topics like distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, large-scale data processing, or knowledge graphs with technical audiences
Are a creative sourcer who knows where strong engineers actually hang out (communities, open source, niche platforms) and don’t rely solely on LinkedIn
Have excellent stakeholder management skills—you communicate clearly, push back thoughtfully, and bring hiring teams along through complex decisions
Care deeply about the candidate experience, diversity in hiring, and building teams with lasting impact
Are energized by fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you’re expected to take initiative and figure things out
At WireScreen, you'll do high-impact work that helps shape global commerce and policy. We’re a mission-driven team with a growth mindset—curious, collaborative, and unafraid to take on bold challenges. You’ll be empowered to act, heard when you speak, and supported as you grow. With strong market momentum and ambitious goals, this is an exciting time to join us and help build something that truly matters.
At WireScreen, we care deeply about our team and are committed to supporting your well-being—both in and out of the workplace. Here’s how we take care of our employees:
