Skills
- Deep knowledge of Reg E, Reg Z, and card network rules and dispute lifecycles
- Proven experience in payment disputes or fraud risk management
- Strong analytical skills with experience identifying trends and root causes
- Experience conducting QA/audits and improving operational workflows
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
Responsibilities
- Monitor dispute case queues, resolve escalations, and ensure SLA and compliance adherence
- Conduct quality audits and track recurring issues to drive accountability and process improvements
- Partner with Product, Risk, and Engineering to surface edge cases and propose system or workflow fixes
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend updates to tools, documentation, and procedures
- Maintain operational dashboards, produce weekly summaries, and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Coach and support frontline dispute processors on complex cases and best practices
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or related field preferred
- Relevant payments, compliance, or risk certifications are a plus
