The Essentials


  • Annual salary of $75,000 with all travel expenses included
  • Full-time position
  • Located in Austin, TX (frequent travel to Stanford and MIT required)

Your 2025 Journey


  • Jan–May: Embark on trips to Stanford and MIT to lead spirited recruitment drives, organize events, and form bonds with elite CS/ML students.
  • June–Aug: Facilitate a seamless and enriching experience for summer program participants.
  • Sept–Dec: Leverage insights from your initial recruiting cycle to enhance future endeavors.

What You Will Be Doing


  • Steering dynamic on-campus recruitment initiatives to draw in premier CS/ML students.
  • Fostering connections with students, faculty, and university groups to establish enduring relationships.
  • Managing a robust talent pipeline with enthusiasm and accuracy to meet ambitious targets.
  • Traveling extensively between Austin, Stanford, and MIT to conduct recruitment events and cultivate relationships.

  • Sticking to a conventional 9-to-5 work schedule.
  • Recruiting without stepping out of your comfort zone or engaging directly with students.


College Recruiter Key Responsibilities


Engage and cultivate a network of 100 elite CS/ML students from Stanford and MIT through energetic on-campus interactions and robust relationship-building.


Basic Requirements


  • Minimum of 1 year in college recruiting or university admissions with a proven record in high-volume candidate engagement.
  • Consistent achievement of challenging outreach and conversion objectives.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful recruiting/marketing events.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with quantifiable targets.
  • Experience with ATS/CRM systems for tracking candidate pipelines.
  • Located in Austin, TX or open to relocation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% during peak recruiting periods (January-May, August-November).

Working with us


This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
