Labor & Trust Sales Director

Spring Health is a clinically validated mental health benefits provider on a mission to remove barriers to care. They partner with employers and large funds to deliver precision mental healthcare. The Labor & Trust Sales Director will lead full-cycle sales into the labor and Taft-Hartley fund market—developing relationships with trustees, union leadership, and benefits managers to drive adoption of Spring Health solutions for working families nationwide.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise sales experience with quota attainment
  • Deep knowledge of union benefit structures, trust governance, and Taft-Hartley processes
  • Consultative selling and complex negotiation skills
  • Ability to build long-term stakeholder relationships across union leadership and trustees
  • Experience creating ROI analyses and business cases for benefits buyers
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales and benefits/healthcare solutions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

  • Manage full sales cycle for Labor & Trust opportunities from pipeline generation to contract execution.
  • Source and close new business through partnership with BDRs, Strategic Alliances, and channel partners.
  • Lead consultative conversations with trustees, benefits managers, and union leadership to identify needs and align on outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, ROI analyses, proposals, and pricing for labor clients.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Implementation to ensure smooth onboarding and product-market fit.
  • Build governance- and funding-aligned business cases and contracts for labor/trust decision processes.
  • Represent Spring Health at labor conferences, trustee summits, and industry events (travel ~30%).
  • Consistently meet or exceed quota while focusing on strategic, high-value accounts.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Professional development or certifications in sales, benefits, or labor relations are a plus
  • Relevant industry training (healthcare benefits, labor relations) preferred
