Sr. Business Development Manager, US & Canada (Starlink Product Growth)

SpaceX’s Starlink team is expanding consumer adoption across the US and Canada by partnering with adjacent products, services, and channels. We are seeking a Sr. Business Development Manager to lead commercial collaborations, structure revenue-generating deals, and scale new go-to-market models that accelerate Starlink adoption.

Skills

  • Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or sales for consumer technology, telecom, utilities, or subscription services
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract structuring experience
  • Analytical and financial modeling skills to build business cases and forecast revenue/subscriber impact
  • Experience launching and scaling consumer-focused partnerships and bundles
  • Excellent executive presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel ~50% and work extended hours/weekends as required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve business development strategies to expand Starlink’s consumer presence via bundled offerings, affinity channels, and new go-to-market models
  • Identify, evaluate, and own emerging customer acquisition channels (affiliates, membership programs, utilities, content providers, affinity groups)
  • Drive deal execution from opportunity identification to signed commercial agreements aligned with growth and profitability goals
  • Launch and manage inter-company go-to-market efforts delivering high customer acquisition and revenue
  • Represent Starlink in external executive-level discussions and lead negotiations with prospective partners
  • Collect and synthesize channel and customer feedback to influence product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, product, marketing, engineering, finance) to structure technically feasible, commercially viable offerings
  • Build business cases and pilots for bundled offerings, including customer value analysis, financial forecasts, and go-to-market plans
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to identify trends, channel opportunities, and relevant technologies
  • Report initiative progress and present insights and recommendations to Starlink leadership

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related field (required)
  • MBA or advanced degree with a business/technical focus (preferred)
