Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for capital purchases and production consumables.
- Evaluate technical requirements for production equipment to identify cost, space, and process optimization opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize value, lower risk, and secure delivery priority.
- Build and own project budgets, compile funding requests, and generate capitalization plans focused on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Perform market research, benchmarking, and category analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
- Communicate equipment status, schedules, risks, and mitigation plans to management and stakeholders.
- Track and report projected and actual spend; assess budgetary risk and provide actionable analysis.
- Source, onboard, and manage suppliers including installation, repairs, and maintenance support.
- Execute purchase orders and manage purchase-to-pay escalation processes.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related field (preferred)
- Relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, operations, or supply chain
