Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for machinery, equipment, facilities, consumables, capital, and construction projects
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to create strategic sourcing models
- Negotiate and manage contracts from RFP through completion and ensure supplier performance meets obligations
- Identify and execute cost reduction projects and provide regular project updates
- Perform quantitative financial analysis and supplier performance evaluations
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and cost modeling
- Place purchase orders, resolve blocked invoices, and coordinate with planning for delivery scheduling
Education
- Advanced degree OR
- Bachelor's degree (with 2+ years relevant experience) OR
- 6+ years of relevant experience
