Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain production control schedules across shifts, processes, safety, and area standards
- Lead, coach, mentor direct reports; conduct reviews and manage corrective/disciplinary actions
- Transition products from engineering development to full-rate production
- Provide daily visibility on schedule health, part shortages, and resource performance
- Prepare schedule analyses on critical path, variances, escalation paths, and remediation actions
- Serve as scheduling expert for department and cross-functional stakeholders
- Coordinate with customers on shipments and daily schedule targets
- Perform fulfillment activities to support the production floor as needed
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations to resolve part shortages and production rate issues
- Conduct work-center capacity analysis to identify and mitigate schedule risk
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions to remove blockers
- Identify and support improvements for yield, quality, safety, cost, and team efficiency
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate (required)
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of professional manufacturing/production experience
- 1+ years experience leading a team or project
