Sr. Software Engineer (Starlink)
Skills
- Proven full‑stack development experience with TypeScript and React
- Backend development experience in .NET/C# (or similar object-oriented languages)
- Containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment tooling
- Experience profiling and improving application performance and observability
- Comfortable working in UNIX-like environments and with build/package tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, performant web applications for Starlink customers and support tools
- Build highly reliable and available backend services in a .NET microservice architecture running in Kubernetes
- Deliver expert-level TypeScript and React code targeted for modern browsers
- Design and implement fault-tolerant, long-running systems with strong observability and alerting
- Implement continuous monitoring, profiling, and performance improvements
- Collaborate with internal partners and cross-functional engineering teams on architecture, design, and code reviews
- Troubleshoot and deep-dive into user problems to create efficient, user-centered solutions
- Own outcomes and drive features from design through production, including extended-hours support when needed
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM discipline plus 5+ years building full‑stack software
- Or 7+ years of professional full‑stack software experience in lieu of a degree (internship experience applicable)
