Mid/Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join a high-performing technology team working on impactful cloud and desktop applications. In this role, you’ll contribute to the full software development lifecycle—from design and development to deployment and optimization—while delivering scalable, high-quality solutions that serve complex, real-world needs. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative products, solve challenging technical problems, and enhance existing systems. Accountabilities

·         Develop high-quality, production-ready code for cloud-based and desktop applications using modern software development best practices.

·         Analyze system and business requirements to design efficient, scalable software solutions that meet project objectives.

·         Evaluate existing systems for performance and reliability improvements, implementing strategic enhancements.

·         Design and execute automated unit and functional tests to ensure code maintainability and quality.

·         Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to define technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver impactful results.

·         Contribute to the development of innovative geospatial solutions and data-processing algorithms to support diverse technical needs.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 4+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

·         Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C#, C++, or C.

·         Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

·         Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization.

·         Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in AWS or Azure cloud environments.

·         Familiarity with version control tools like Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps, including collaborative branching strategies.

·         U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work.

·         Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; experience with DevOps practices, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
