Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve lumped-parameter thermofluid models of the Raptor engine
- Perform engine cycle analysis to guide design and thrust upgrades
- Use models and sparse instrumentation to conduct anomaly resolution and root-cause analysis
- Integrate and validate engine representations for vehicle simulations, GNC validation, and Monte Carlo flight analysis
- Develop tools and portals for exploring engine performance variability and informing manufacturing/design changes
- Automate prediction pipelines and software that generate test and flight performance predictions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve interoperability and standardize tools and practices
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline (required)
