Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-quality software systems using Python and Kotlin
- Build tools and libraries that provide foundational functionality for the web application
- Maintain and improve test, build, and release pipelines (CI/CD)
- Contribute to core application architecture and drive implementation decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally on project definition, specs, delivery, monitoring, and maintenance
- Integrate Affirm systems with third-party servicing solutions such as Salesforce Service Cloud
- Provide support and troubleshooting for software systems and tooling, using data and stack traces
- Travel up to ~5% to unanticipated worksites domestically and internationally as needed
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
- Completion of a relevant university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis is acceptable alternative to degree
