- 4+ years professional experience with C++ or Rust
- Strong systems-level understanding and ability to navigate large codebases

- Ability to produce pragmatic, mission-focused engineering tradeoffs
- Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance and willing to travel
Responsibilities
- Own mission autonomy systems and services deployed to customers.
- Design, implement, and scale software to expand mission capabilities.
- Collaborate across teams to plan, build, test, and deploy complex features.
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging, monitoring, and performance validation.
- Triage issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation.
- Partner with end-users to convert operational needs into robust features.
- Travel (up to 25%) to build, test, and deploy systems in real-world environments.
Education
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred for modeling/simulation-focused roles
