Responsibilities
- Develop and manage global supplier base for mechanical commodities supporting Starlink user terminals and ground stations
- Create and execute sourcing, negotiation, and cost management strategies for production consumables and capital equipment
- Build and own project budgets, funding requests, and capitalization plans focused on TCO
- Use data analytics to identify process, cost, and space optimization opportunities for production equipment
- Provide weekly status reporting, escalate risks, and communicate schedules and mitigation plans to management
- Train, mentor, and continuously improve supply chain team capabilities
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and supplier performance analysis
- Drive cross-functional alignment and present value propositions to executives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered (see experience requirements)
