Skills
- Proficiency with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
- Experience across FPGA development lifecycle: RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing analysis, and lab bring-up
- Experience with Xilinx SoC FPGA platforms and PS/PL interfaces
- Familiarity with high-speed serial links (GbE, PCIe) and networking/packet processing
- DSP implementation experience (fixed-point analysis and verification)
- Embedded software experience in C or C++ and scripting (Python, bash, Perl)
- Comfort reading schematics and contributing to hardware design discussions
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/TS-SCI clearance and meet ITAR eligibility
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and verify FPGA firmware (RTL) for flight hardware
- Take ownership of FPGA designs through development, verification, lab bring-up, and flight support
- Collaborate closely with avionics, software, and platform engineers to define and meet mission requirements
- Perform synthesis, timing analysis, and design validation for production and flight
- Write and maintain verification tests, documentation, and follow flight software development processes
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related engineering discipline
- OR 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
