This position will be located at our corporate office in either Akron, OH or Dallas, TX.The Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Executive Search is responsible for designing, leading, and optimizing the organization’s talent acquisition strategy and ensuring a best in class recruiting and onboarding experience for all new hires. This role is a key member of Signet’s HR Leadership Team and partners closely with executive leadership, and business unit leaders to attract, build, engage, and retain top talent while adding to our strong organizational culture. A strategic asset of Signet’s success, this leader will be responsible for recruiting senior leadership roles across the company through talent mapping, networking and strategic pipelining. Involved in succession planning and strategic business planning to ready Signet’s workforce for continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives and growth plans.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and onboarding specialists; promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Employment Branding: Build and enhance the Signet employment brand to position the company as an employer of choice; oversee recruitment marketing initiatives and partnerships.
Executive Recruiting: Responsible for recruiting senior leadership roles across the company, lessening reliance on search firms through talent mapping, networking and strategic pipelining.
Recruitment Operations: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation; ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Leverage AI and best-in-class tools/processes to improve quality and speed of searches.
Inclusion: Champion initiatives in recruitment and onboarding; implement strategies to attract and support an inclusive workforce.
Onboarding Excellence: Partner with L&OD, HRIS and HRBP leaders to design and continuously improve onboarding processes to accelerate new hire productivity, engagement, and retention.
Metrics & Analytics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure recruitment effectiveness and onboarding success; report on progress and implement data-driven improvements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, business leaders, and external vendors to meet evolving talent needs and deliver a seamless candidate and new hire experience.
Budget Management: Manage department budgets and resources effectively to maximize ROI and support organizational priorities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience leading enterprise-level talent acquisition strategies, including 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
Proven ability to design and execute data-informed talent strategies that align with business goals and drive organizational growth.
Deep expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, and strategic talent forecasting to proactively anticipate business needs.
Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing TA teams, driving scalable recruitment operations across complex, matrixed organizations.
Expertise in executive search, employer branding, and cultivating pipelines of diverse, high-impact talent across all levels.
Strong command of recruiting technologies, HRIS and Workday platforms, analytics dashboards, and onboarding systems; adept at implementing digital transformation in TA functions.
Experience managing budgets, optimizing vendor partnerships, and negotiating enterprise contracts (LinkedIn, Indeed, agencies, etc.).
Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to influence at all levels, build trusted partnerships, and communicate with clarity and vision.
