Manager, Sales Compensation Operations

Sayari is a fast-growing risk intelligence provider delivering global corporate and trade data to enterprise and government customers. The Manager, Sales Compensation Operations will design, document, administer, and continuously improve global sales incentive programs, partnering closely with Revenue Operations, Finance, and People Infrastructure to ensure plans are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Skills

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Hands-on experience with Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools and CRM integrations.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling ability for cost/impact analysis and forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex compensation logic clearly.
  • Proven process orientation with documentation, controls, and audit-readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Design and operationalize commission structures, quota methodologies, accelerators, and bonus mechanics in partnership with Revenue Ops and Finance.
  • Administer end-to-end commission calculations, approvals, and payouts for monthly and quarterly programs across GTM teams.
  • Maintain plan documentation, governance policies, version history, and audit-ready records for compliance.
  • Configure and manage the company’s ICM platform and ensure integrations with CRM and HRIS are accurate and reliable.
  • Perform modeling, costing, sensitivity analyses, and provide recommendations on plan effectiveness and ROI.
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking attainment, payout ratios, and plan performance; deliver insights to leadership.
  • Investigate and resolve commission disputes, ensure strong internal controls, and support SOX and audit processes.
  • Drive automation and AI-driven improvements to increase accuracy, scalability, and user experience.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required.
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or certifications in sales compensation or relevant systems preferred.
