Employee Relations Partner

Remote is a global company building tools to hire, pay, and manage international teams. They are seeking an Employee Relations Partner to own global policy governance, lead complex ER investigations, and drive compliance and standardized people practices across EMEA and the Americas in partnership with Legal and People Business Partners.

Skills

  • Deep Employee Relations and compliance expertise across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience conducting and leading workplace investigations
  • Policy design and implementation skills
  • Ability to analyze ER data and translate findings into strategic recommendations
  • Cross‑functional stakeholder management and project management
  • Strong coaching and advisory capabilities for managers and People Partners
  • Practical knowledge of performance management frameworks and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Own full lifecycle of People policies: drafting, review, implementation, and maintenance in partnership with Legal and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and consultation guides to ensure fair and consistent policy application globally.
  • Lead complex or high‑risk employee relations cases and formal investigations from intake to resolution with thorough documentation and procedural fairness.
  • Serve as escalation point and provide advanced guidance to People Partners on intricate ER and performance management issues.
  • Operationally manage systematic performance structures and advise on probation reviews, low‑performance flags, and documentation to mitigate legal risk.
  • Coordinate employee representative body consultations and prepare required documentation for policy or collective agreement changes.
  • Analyze ER and compliance data to identify systemic risks and trends; present actionable risk mitigation recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner cross‑functionally (Legal, Finance, IT, Security, Payroll) to implement integrated, compliant processes and project manage policy/system changes.
  • Design and deliver enablement and training for People Partners and managers on policy application, performance management, and compliance best practices.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Formal HR, employment law, or compliance training preferred
