Skills
- Proven ability to quantify technical improvements into business metrics and ROI.
- Experience engaging and influencing CxO-level stakeholders, typically CTOs.
- Deep knowledge of storage (block/file/object), cloud, databases, virtualization, and containers.
- Strong consulting, storytelling, and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (SEs, CX/PS, account teams) on large, multi-million dollar opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead rapid, iterative technical assessments to quantify current-state pain points and future-state business value.
- Engage with CTOs and senior sponsors to define technical scope, validate metrics, and secure agreement on projected benefits.
- Collaborate with Account SEs, CX/PS, and customer SMEs to develop future-state architectures and implementation plans.
- Translate assessment findings into quantifiable value propositions, ROI analyses, and proposal materials.
- Develop repeatable assets: current/future state architecture diagrams, migration plans, and CxO-level presentation materials.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and account teams to drive proposal wins and sole-source outcomes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree preferred but not required; significant relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
