ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for our first Data Center Talent Acquisition & People Operations Lead — a strategic yet hands-on builder who will lay the foundation for how we attract, hire, and support our team as we grow. You’ll own the full employee experience: from sourcing to hiring all of our talent and ensuring a smooth and great experience for all our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define and execute on all hiring needs (from writing job descriptions, to sourcing strategies and end-to-end recruitment).

  • Own full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing offers and negotiations.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality candidates across technical and non-technical roles.

  • Partner with the Poolside People team to ensure consistency across all areas of the business.

People Operations

  • Manage the end-to-end employee experience, including employment, payroll, benefits, compliance and so on.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for team inquiries and ensure an excellent employee experience.

  • Build and maintain processes for scalability and according to the data center unique needs.

  • Partner with the Poolside People team to ensure consistency across all areas of the business.

  • Panel Interview with Beatriz, Jag (People Ops Manager) & Lauren (Strategic Ops Director)

  • Interview with Lance, VP of Data Center

  • Interview with Margarida, COO

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in both talent acquisition and people operations roles, at early stage startups and fast growing companies.

  • Strong understanding of people operations best practices, US compliance and employment law (specifically important in Texas state).

  • High level of autonomy and willingness to build processes and relationships from scratch.

  • Excellent communication and ability to operate in a fast paced environment and growing team.
