Strategic Account Executive - New Logo

Ping Identity is a leader in cloud identity and access management, helping enterprises deliver secure, seamless digital experiences. The company is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive net-new logo acquisition and upsell within an assigned territory, leveraging a broad partner ecosystem and internal resources to close complex, high-value deals.

Skills

  • Quota-carrying enterprise software sales experience
  • Proven ability to close long, complex sales cycles and large strategic deals
  • Established relationships at C-level within target sectors
  • Experience working with channel partners and system integrators
  • Proficiency in value selling and account planning methodologies
  • Strong contract negotiation and pricing skills
  • Accurate forecasting and sales reporting experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a personal sales plan aligned to regional strategy to achieve quota
  • Position and articulate Ping Identity’s value proposition to prospective customers
  • Identify, negotiate and close complex subscription and professional services contracts
  • Manage long sales cycles and build relationships with C-level and strategic buyers
  • Prepare pricing, proposals and RFP responses in collaboration with internal teams
  • Report sales activity, pipeline and forecasts to senior management
  • Provide market and customer feedback to product, marketing and customer success
  • Engage and coordinate regional, national and global partners and system integrators as needed

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Formal training or certification in value selling/account planning preferred
