Position Overview
Phil is seeking a collaborative and resourceful HR Generalist to support and enhance core HR operations and programs across the employee lifecycle. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the People team and business leaders to deliver excellent employee experiences, support compliance, and implement people initiatives that align with Phil’s culture and mission.
This is a hands-on, mid-level role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is looking to deepen their expertise across multiple HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, benefits coordination, performance management, and compliance. You’ll be instrumental in helping Phil scale and sustain a strong remote-first culture.
This role is an in-office position and is expected to be in our Scottsdale office five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and improve onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
Support employee relations and help resolve day-to-day questions or concerns
Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy across platforms
Assist in maintaining compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Partner with the People team to roll out initiatives including but not limited to engagement surveys, talent mapping, recognition program, performance reviews, and learning programs
Provide direct one-on-one support to managers and employees regarding HR policies and best practices
Contribute to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culture-building efforts
Facilitate or support employee trainings
Serve as point of contact for internal audits
Analyze HR Data trends
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or equivalent HR role
Working knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR best practices
Experience working with both hourly and salaried workforces preferred
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting
