Lead Technical Account Manager - job 1 of 2

NICE is a market-leading public software company specializing in AI, cloud and contact center technologies. We're seeking a deeply experienced Lead Technical Account Manager to own relationships with our largest, most complex customers — resolving the hardest technical problems, driving adoption and expansion, and serving as a trusted technical advisor and reference.

Skills

  • 10+ years in technical or service roles within software, telecommunications, contact center or service delivery
  • Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Deep familiarity with telecommunications, IP telephony and contact center technologies
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and customer-facing skills
  • Experience handling enterprise-scale, high-complexity customer accounts
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical issues into business impact

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the largest and most complex customer accounts
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues across telecommunications, contact center, and related domains
  • Act as a subject matter expert in multiple technical areas and stay current on industry trends
  • Drive product adoption, usage expansion, and long-term customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources (engineering, support, product) to resolve escalations
  • Document technical resolutions, best practices, and contribute to process improvements
  • Mentor and guide junior TAMs and share knowledge across the team
  • Represent customers in product and roadmap discussions and act as a customer reference

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
  • Or equivalent professional experience in technical account management or service delivery
