Lightspeed Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide technical support and sales acumen for K12 technology solutions across the West Region of the U.S., enhancing classroom communication and improving student learning experiences.
Responsibilities: The Sales Engineer will consult with sales teams, respond to RFI/RFPs, analyze customer requirements, and provide on-site support for installations, while collaborating with various stakeholders to promote company solutions.
Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office and virtual training; ability to explain technology clearly; and familiarity with A/V systems and K12 environments are essential.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in A/V technology or related fields, ideally within the K12 education sector, with a proven track record of resolving technical issues.
Location: Position requires 30-50% travel to customer locations within the West Region of the U.S.; primarily remote work is indicated.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $70,000 - $120,000.

Position Overview:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for understanding and communicating the integration of Lightspeed solutions with various K12 technologies and applications, including but not limited to; software-based solutions, paging & intercom, phone systems, life safety/security, cameras, visual technologies (projectors and interactive flat panels), personal FM systems, and A/V control. This position will provide sales-focused technical support and acumen to our Account Executive and Sales Leadership team, and provide customized solution applications with a customer focus. This position may also be tasked with taking a lead role in business development within the Lightspeed distribution network.
