Sales Executive - Marine

Lightspeed provides cloud-based Dealer Management Solutions (DMS) for powersport, marine, RV, trailer and related industries, helping dealers streamline sales, parts, service and CRM. The Sales Executive - Marine will focus on new business acquisition in the Marine industry, primarily prospecting and closing new dealer accounts across a Midwest U.S. territory while collaborating with internal teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.

Skills

  • 5+ years B2B field sales experience, preferably selling SaaS
  • Proven record of new logo acquisition and exceeding quota in quota-carrying roles
  • Proficiency with sales enablement and automation tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Enablix)
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles and overcoming objections
  • Familiarity with SPIN and Solution Selling methodologies
  • Industry knowledge of Powersports, RV, Marine, Golf or Trailer markets is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory-specific plans to grow Lightspeed’s customer base in the Marine industry
  • Prospect, generate leads and qualify opportunities across inbound and outbound channels
  • Manage and progress opportunities through the sales funnel to close new business
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing and product teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience
  • Maintain product, competitor and market knowledge to identify opportunities and address challenges
  • Accurately track and report sales activity and pipeline in Salesforce and other sales tools
  • Engage executive and key stakeholder decision makers to win complex deals

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent work experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Relevant sales certifications a plus
